Anniversaries are often a cause for reflection, but for this company it's primarily a confirmation of the values built, the experience gained, the proven know-how and the strong foundation for the future. 30 Years in the Flow of Events
The thirtieth anniversary is a significant milestone for USSPA on the journey to customer satisfaction and for the teams that make up the USSPA world. A journey built on deep experience, meaningful effort and a constant drive to improve and raise the bar. In 1995, when Petr Kolář and his daughter Kateřina travelled to Indianapolis, USA, the story of Czech spa production began. Initially, shells and components were imported from the USA and assembled in the Czech Republic. However, it was soon decided to start its own production. In 1995, production began in small rented premises in a former cider factory in Ústí nad Orlicí. In 1998, the company moved to a former textile factory in Dolní Dobrouč. From the very beginning, one of the first team members was a designer, signalling the innovative approach that still guides the company today.
Today, USSPA is not only one of the oldest specialised spa and swim spa manufacturers in Europe, with thousands of satisfied customers, but also a symbol of a successful family company. It is not only a leader on the Czech market, but has also established a presence on global markets. Founded by Petr Kolář and his wife Hana, the company is now run by Kateřina Kadlecová and her husband Jan, who have been leading it for over 13 years.
USSPA follows its own path and is in many ways a leader in its field. For years it has been setting standards, defining directions and pushing boundaries. Innovation and quality are key pillars of the brand's DNA, reflected not only in production but also in design, which has earned the company prestigious global awards, including the Red Dot Design and Good Design Awards. As Jan Kadlec, the company's CEO and a member of the R&D team, confirms: "We don't develop new products for awards or to be the first. We follow trends, look beyond our industry, incorporate new technologies and collaborate with internal and external experts. We're not afraid of new approaches and will go our own way where it makes sense.“

"We're no longer green behind the ears; we've come a long way in three decades, and I'm not just talking about starting out in the pre-internet era with nothing more than a fax machine. We've been up, we've been down and now we appreciate the most important things – our team, our family and every day we have to celebrate," says USSPA owner Kateřina Kadlecová, reflecting on this year's anniversary.
